How to Install Easy IP TV on LG TV (webOS)
Get IPTV running on your LG Smart TV in under 2 minutes. Works on all LG TVs from 2018 onwards (webOS 4.0+).
What you need
- An LG Smart TV (2018 or newer, running webOS 4.0+)
- An internet connection (at least 10 Mbps for HD streaming)
- A phone or computer to manage your account at easy-ip.tv
- An M3U playlist URL from your IPTV provider
Step-by-step installation
Open the LG Content Store
Press the Home button on your LG remote. Navigate to the LG Content Store (the shopping bag icon) to browse available apps.
Search for Easy IP TV
Use the search function and type "Easy IP TV". Select the app from the search results.
Install the app
Click Install. The app downloads and installs automatically — this takes about 10 seconds.
Open Easy IP TV
Launch the app from your TV's app list. A 6-digit linking code will appear on screen.
Link your TV
On your phone or computer, go to easy-ip.tv and sign in. Enter the 6-digit code to link your TV to your account.
Add your M3U playlist
In the dashboard at easy-ip.tv, paste your IPTV provider's M3U playlist URL and click Save. Your playlist will be processed and channels will appear on your TV — small playlists load in seconds, larger ones may take a few minutes.
LG Magic Remote support
Easy IP TV fully supports the LG Magic Remote (the pointer remote included with most LG TVs). Point and click to navigate channels, scroll through lists with the scroll wheel, or use the arrow buttons for traditional navigation. The Magic Remote makes browsing large channel lists fast and intuitive.
Setting up EPG (Program Guide)
Many M3U playlists include EPG data automatically. If your program guide is empty, add a separate EPG URL in your dashboard at easy-ip.tv. Easy IP TV supports XMLTV format and displays current and upcoming programs in the player overlay.
Remote control shortcuts
- Arrow keys / Magic Remote pointer — navigate channels and menus
- OK / Wheel click — select a channel or show player info
- Back — return to the previous screen
- Up/Down while watching — switch channels
- Left/Right while watching — seek (for movies and series)
- Red button — add/remove favorites (in channel list)
- Blue button — hide/unhide channels (in channel list)
- Scroll wheel — scroll through channel lists and series episodes
- Play/Pause — control playback
Compatible LG TV models
Easy IP TV works on all LG Smart TVs from 2018 onwards, including:
- LG OLED (C/G/Z series), QNED, NanoCell, and UHD models
- webOS 4.0 (2018), 4.5 (2019), 5.0 (2020), 6.0 (2021), 22 (2022), 23 (2023), 24 (2024), 25 (2025)
- All screen sizes from 32" to 97"
Check Settings > Support > TV Information on your LG TV to see your webOS version.
Troubleshooting
Can't find the app? Search in the LG Content Store, not the web browser. The app may not be available in all regions yet.
Channels not loading? Verify your M3U URL is correct. Try opening the URL in a browser to check if it's accessible.
Buffering or freezing? Connect your LG TV with an Ethernet cable for the most stable connection. See our troubleshooting guide for detailed tips.
