1. Who we are

Easy IP TV is operated by HD SofT (hdsoft.fi), a company registered in Finland. Easy IP TV is a media player application — we do not provide, host, or distribute any content, playlists, or channel subscriptions.

2. What data we collect

Account data: Email address (used for authentication and communication).

Device data: Device ID, platform (webOS, Tizen, Android TV), device name, and app version. Used to link your TV to your account and provide the service.

Usage data: IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, and timestamps. Collected automatically for service operation, security, and analytics.

Playlist data: Your M3U playlist URL, EPG URL, and the data they contain (channel names, stream URLs, program guide information) are stored on our servers to deliver channel listings to your TV app. Video streams are delivered directly from the stream source to your device — we do not relay, proxy, or store any stream content.

Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. We receive your subscription status and Stripe customer ID.

3. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and link your devices
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send service-related communications (e.g. billing confirmations, significant changes to the service or these terms)
• To monitor and improve service performance and security
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter.

• Upstash — caching infrastructure
• Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and session recordings for UX improvement

These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Google Tag Manager may set analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors use our website. Microsoft Clarity may collect behavioral data (clicks, scrolls, session recordings) to help us improve the user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the service.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records). Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days.

How to delete your data

You can delete your data at any time:

• Sign in at easy-ip.tv/settings
• To delete your account and all associated data (email, devices, playlists, favorites, watch history): go to Settings and click "Delete account"
• To remove individual data without deleting your account: go to Dashboard to unlink devices or remove your playlist

Account deletion is permanent. Your personal data will be erased within 30 days. Billing records may be retained as required by law.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Restriction — limit how we process your data
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

To exercise these rights, use our contact form. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Easy IP TV is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
